Fine Art Print - Over the Valley
This fine art print beautifully captures the depth, texture, and delicate bubbles of the original glass piece.
The original artwork was crafted using up to four layers of art glass, fired multiple times — first to shape the landscape components, then to fuse the layers together. A compression firing refines the thickness, followed by precise cutting with a tile saw, careful grinding, and hand polishing.
To complete the piece, an image taken during my explorations is transferred onto the glass. A final firing enhances the smoothness and brings out the rich depth and luminosity.
The finished artwork is then photographed and printed on specialised archival fine art paper. Each print is mounted front and back, with details about the creative process included on the reverse — perfect for gifting. The print is protected in a compostable pouch for added care.
Dimensions:
The mountboard measures 8 × 6 inches (204mm x 153mm) and fits perfectly into a standard 8 × 6 inch frame. A slim black metal frame works particularly well to complement the design. Please note: This item arrives unframed.
